Formula- (previous year freight movement figure)x(1+(gdp growth rate X elasticity of Freight movement), 2. In respect of Passenger movement, the figure from 1999-2000 to 2005-06 are from earlier publication of RTYBs, figure for the year 2006-07 is from report of National Transport Development Policy Committee, 2014 and figure from 2007-08 to 2018-19 are estimated by Transport Research Wing, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India on the basis of actual GDP growth rate and elasticity of Passenger movement (1.9) estimated by the National Transport Development Policy Committee, 2014. Formula- (previous year passenger movement figure)x(1+(gdp growth rate X elasticity of passenger movement), 3. GDP growth rate ( at constant prices) have been adopted from the press note on " FIRST REVISED ESTIMATES OF NATIONAL INCOME, CONSUMPTION EXPENDITURE, SAVING AND CAPITAL FORMATION FOR 2017-18" and the figures for the the years 2012-13 onwards have been revised.
